Established in 2007, SCID aims to become the leading company in the investment, development, management, and operation of commercial real estate in Vietnam. As an extension of Saigon Co.op, SCID focuses on securing premises, constructing infrastructure for retail business (supermarkets, various retail models, logistics, etc.) for the Saigon Co.op supermarket system, developing community-oriented shopping mall models, and creating added value for shareholders.

In 2015, the SC VivoCity shopping mall was inaugurated and commenced operations in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This joint venture with Mapletree, a leading Singaporean real estate group, developed the Saigon South Place complex. SC VivoCity offers various entertainment and retail services, catering to all customer segments and serving as an ideal destination for domestic and international tourists.
