On November 15, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trade Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op) officially launched Co.opXtra Ta Quang Buu at Central Premium Shopping Center (854 - 856 Tạ Quang Bửu Street, District 8).The supermarket offers over 30,000 essential items, including fresh food, dry goods, cosmetics, household products, and apparel.

This is the sixth member of the hypermarket segment, a joint venture between Saigon Co.op and NTUC FairPrice, Singapore’s leading consumer cooperative.

The grand opening of Co.opXtra is a special event celebrating Saigon Co.op’s 35th anniversary, preparing for the year-end business peak, while also adding a new hub for international imports and Vietnamese exports to global markets.

Co.opXtra Ta Quang Buu has a total investment of over 70 billion VND and a business area of nearly 3,000 m². The supermarket is designed with a space-optimized and convenience-focused approach to maximize service for local consumers.

A common feature of Co.opXtra and Co.opmart stores opening in Q4 is their location within modern residential and apartment areas. Therefore, priority is given to spacious layouts and an expanded selection of ready-to-eat meals, fresh food, marinated and pre-processed ingredients, and ready-to-cook options. The service sector is also enhanced to provide customers with a comfortable and convenient shopping experience.

In addition to 80% of its products being high-quality Vietnamese goods, the supermarket also features premium imported products from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, the U.S., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, such as fruits, spices, nutritional supplements, household items, and cosmetics.
